A brief explanation.

Juiskers II: The Sequel With No Prequel is a low budget, independent sketch comedy movie filmed on location in Oklahoma. Sketch comedy shows, such as: Kids in the Hall, Monty Python, SCTV, The State, and Mr. Show with Bob and David inspired us to attempt to get our own sketch show on local cable access. But, due to lack of interest and a complete absence of cable access altogether in the state of Oklahoma, we failed. It was at this point that we decided to redirect our efforts toward making a movie. Although a few sketches in the

movie were filmed back in 2000, principle production on the movie began in 2001, and after rewriting and reworking the script in 2002 and 2003, the feature-length film was completed in the Fall of 2005.

Juiskers II premiered at Meacham Auditorium on the University of Oklahoma campus in Norman, Oklahoma on April 22, 2006. Preceding the movie premiere were short comedy films by friends and Oklahoma natives Jason Connell and Josh Fadem, a rare live set by comedian Jimmy Blighter, live musical performances by Pootychop, and a live sketch performance by the members of Juiskers. The Oklahoma Daily (OU newspaper) interviewed us for their April 20th issue: "Norman filmmakers to screen 'juicy' satire".

The movie is a collection of silly, satirical, and occasionally musical sketches, all of which are linked in a linear fashion to one another and loosely based around the story of our struggle to get on cable access.

We put our absurd spin on a wide spectrum of subjects in this film by parodying commercials, infomercials, sitcoms, newscasts, reality shows, and targetting some ridiculous trends in pop culture. But, not all of the movie is parody. Some of the sketches are rough portrayals of actual events or situations that we've found ourselves in. Others are simply random, comical, asinine tales concocted from our warped imaginations. There are lots of running gags, odd characters and bizarre stories that make up this ludicrous patchwork of sketch comedy.

Juiskers II was a 4-year collaborative effort to create something unique and funny that we, as well as others could enjoy. The majority of the film was shot over the weekends, while we weren't working

at our regular jobs. What little funding and equipment we had was generously donated and/or provided by close friends of ours, who worked tirelessly alongside us to make this movie what it is. It was a long and sometimes tedious journey. We learned a few things while making this film, but we had a lot of fun making it, and we ended up making several good friends in the process. We hope you have as much fun watching this movie as we did making it!

"Dom Wupwabe's Magical Money Geyser System"

His name is Dom Wupwabe, and he has a Money Making™ system that's gonna beat the living shit out of whatever crap-assy "system" of making money it is that you currently use. Dom's Magical Money-Geyser System™ is guaranteed to make you insanely rich immediately! "How is this possible?", you ask? Because you'll make so much money that you'll go insane. That's how, silly! Approximately hundreds of people watched this sketch at the 2002 Tulsa United Film Festival, and of those hundreds of viewers, approximately hundreds made money at some point afterwards.

What happens when you take a shrimp boat captain, a mechanic, a telephone operator, three school teachers, a can of industrial-strength mustard flavored sauce, and put 'em all on one 78 year old roller coaster!?
Gee, I don't know, but I imagine it would be pretty damn hilarious! But, not quite as hilarious as this Juiskers sketch which originally aired November 29, 2003 on FOX 23 in Tulsa as part of the Beef Baloney show.

"The Reality Tower"

A spoof of reality shows of the late 90s and early 2000s, this sketch appears in our movie, Juiskers II: The Sequel With No Prequel. This piece first appeared at the fourth annual Tulsa Overground Film Festival in 2001, and was a favorite at several other film festivals.

Hillbilly/Comedian Rayford T. Blantley is constantly reinventing himself. -And you'll never guess what he's going to do next! So stop guessing and watch this commercial parody which originally aired on Beef Baloney January 24, 2004.

We wrote a script for a ten minute slot in the original Beef Baloney pilot. Then, our time slot was cut to six minutes. After (not really) rewriting/shortening the script, we hurriedly filmed the piece on a blistering hot afternoon in July of 2002. What resulted was this fast paced flurry of weird phrases and homemade eye patches. It was later edited down to five minutes, then cut from the final version of the Beef Baloney pilot. Although our opinion of this piece is that it was extremely rushed, people who have seen it seem to be highly entertained by it. We figured it'd never see the light of day, so we decided to post it online here for your rare-clip-enjoying enjoyment. It contains a sketch (Dorj truck commercial) that was shot on our first day of filming for our movie back in 2001.
